Outstanding Role Models
Summerbridge/ Breakthrough teacher are outstanding high school and college students, many of who come from similar backgrounds as our students. Through the example, they demon- strate that success at high levels is possible and that it's "cool to be smart."

Princeton Review has consistently chosen Breakthrough as one of the Top Ten Internships in the U.S., alongside the White House and Supreme Court. Summerbridge/ Breakthrough not only encourages and prepares the next generation of teachers, the program also develops strong leaders with a vision and a passion to make a difference in our communities and in our nation. 2006 Teachers In 2006, 80 high school and college students served as teachers and volunteers in the program. 55 participated in high school and college teaching internships; 25 served as high schoo administrative & program volunteers.
