For most of you, teaching will be a new endeavor. Breakthrough is a great opportunity for you to explore teaching in an environment with small class sizes, high energy, and spirit.

Under the direction of experienced educators who will provide support with lesson planning and classroom observation, you'll lead every aspect of the program, from curriculum implementation to lunch supervision to creating lesson plans and grading papers. You'll work hard but you'll also make strong connections with your students, function as a positive role model and mentor, and demonstrate by example that it's . . . "cool to be smart."
