winning, intensive, rigorous summer program prepares students for challenging academic high schools.
- 200 middle school students representing 35 public and parochial
schools
- 80 high school and college teaching interns &
volunteers
- 6-8 weeks of intensive (and fun) academic preparation
- 3:1 Student – Teacher Ratio with an average class size of 7 students
- Rigorous Academic Curriculum (Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language)
- Field Trips, Enrichment Activities & Events throughout the summer

as a meaningful experience of volunteer service.

Super Saturday Academy: Hands-on, theme-based curriculum units, academic electives, individual tutoring
- After School Tutoring: Summerbridge/Breakthrough partners with local university
work-study students
- High school admissions workshops and individual
counseling for families
- Community service, service learning and cultural
enrichment field trips, projects and special events
- Family Association
Events and Parent Workshops
- College Bound program provides ongoing support
to Summerbridge/Breakthrough graduates in high school
