VISIT OUR PROGRAM

For more than twenty years, Breakthrough Miami has held an annual Career Day field trip that has continued our tradition of exposing students to the many career opportunities available.

The goals of our Career Day
Field Trip are to:

  • Raise our middle school students’ awareness in the multitude of careers and professional opportunities available to them
  • Increase knowledge of academic requirements necessary to pursue these careers
  • Expose students to professionals and role models in fields they are interested in pursuing
  • Involve students in the daily operations of a business

Our middle school students will come prepared to learn about your company/business and the career opportunities available. A tour of your office or facility will be of great interest, as well as meeting people from a variety of job positions and departments. We also ask that you plan to provide lunch for the small group that will be visiting; this could be as simple as ordering pizza or as elaborate as taking them to your executive dining room or a restaurant.

We deeply appreciate you taking time to
consider supporting our students and help
them expand their horizons.

If you are interested in hosting a career
day, please contact the Administrator at admin@breakthroughmiami.org
